Ballooning in the Tegernsee Valley – Ballooning Tegernsee makes it possible! A highlight, however, is probably the crossing of the Alps in a hot air balloon. Under certain weather conditions, fascinating journeys from the foothills of the Alps to Italy take place in winter. Almost silently, you float over the highest peaks of the Alps and experience the majestic beauty of the mountains.

The take-off with the balloon takes place at any time of the year in optimal weather conditions, a crossing of the Alps takes about 1 1/2 hours. In total, you should plan about 4 hours, which includes the joint set-up, the balloon ride, the traditional christening ceremony and the return trip to the starting point. From spring to autumn, it starts either in the morning shortly after sunrise or in the evening about 2 hours before sunset. In winter, the trips with Ballooning Tegernsee tend to start in the middle of the day.
