The ground floor of the Schwabenzentrum on Eberhardstraße stood empty for a whole year until it was revived in 2023. In March, Niko Vitsas, together with his brother Georgios Vitsas, who also runs the Café am Rathaus in Bad Cannstatt, opened Café Hegel in Stuttgart. Brunch, lunch and drinks until 11 p.m. are offered every day until 3 p.m. In the afternoon, there are various cakes and pies, for which the two brothers are already known in their Cannstatter café.

The café impresses with its modern and stylish interior. A uniform design in gold and metal tones runs through the entire interior. The chairs are artfully woven and numerous plants give the café a classic-modern look. The high ceilings and the large, opening windows create a pleasant atmosphere that gives the feeling of being outside, even when sitting inside the café.

The brunch menu is available daily until 3 p.m. and offers a variety of savory and sweet dishes. These include eggs benedict, bagels, a breakfast cake stand for two, French toast or pancakes. For the afternoon, tempting ice cream flavours are available, as well as a selection of cakes and pies. For refreshment, there are various hot and cold drinks as well as soft drinks.
