Annemarie and Wayne Carpendale, Carolin Reiber, Joelina Drews, Tina Kaiser and Max Wiedemann, Rocco Stark, Leo Reisinger, Josef and Natalie Schmid, Clemens Baumgärtner and many other VIPs made a strong case for the “‘s Münchner Herz “ – and a total of 101,167 euros was raised for the good cause at the Filmcasino. A lot of heart and soul was once again involved – at the traditional charity gala in favour of the “‘s Münchner Herz” which took place on Wednesday evening – this time for the first time in a new location: in the “Filmcasino” at the Hofgarten directly on Odeonsplatz. As always, the aim of the evening was to generate donations to keep the foundation’s current projects running and to be able to start new ones. And once again there was plenty of prominent support for this….
This year’s event, organised by Munich catering and event professional Andreas Haidinger (“juke & joy Event”), who is also one of the operators of the “Filmcasino”, and his partner Martha Burnhauser, who organised and set up the evening, was once again attended by numerous VIPs. The guests included Wayne and Annemarie Carpendale, presenter Carolin Reiber, Munich’s 2nd Mayor Dominik Krause, politician Clemens Baumgärtner, musician Joelina Drews with her boyfriend, producer Adrian Louis, actor and singer Rocco Stark (son of Uwe Ochsenknecht), politician Josef Schmid and his wife Natalie, fashion designer Sonja Kiefer with her husband Cedric Schwarz and actor Leo Reisinger. The foundation, which was established by the Steinberg family of landlords, has been working in socially deprived neighbourhoods in Munich since 2010. And to this day, its wonderful motto is “Look. Help. Giving hope”: “‘s Münchner Herz’ is a charitable foundation dedicated to helping people. People who live in Munich – whether young or old. We offer help with a wide range of projects and knit a social net for these people. Because there are far too many fellow citizens who fall through this social net and can no longer find a foothold,” says the Steinberg family.
Günter and Margot Steinberg with their daughter Silja Steinberg and her son Niclas and Peter Steinberg (Günter Steinberg’s brother) received a gingerbread heart at the end of the evening with the donation amount from organiser Andreas Haidinger and Martha Burnhauser: A total of 101,167 euros was raised. Organiser Andreas Haidinger and his partner Martha Burnhauser were delighted with the successful evening: “Every child should be given a chance and, above all, enjoy a carefree childhood. We wholeheartedly support this foundation – and are already looking forward to further projects.” What is the foundation about? Over 100 volunteers and Christian social pedagogues offer children and young people a kind of second home. The foundation’s extensive programme ranges from homework help, tutoring, arts and crafts, sports, games, cooking, music and dance lessons to help with job applications for a good start in professional life. “In order to fulfil all these tasks and to be able to start further projects in Munich for all age groups, considerable financial support is required in addition to personal commitment,” say the Steinbergs, for whom this commitment is a matter close to their hearts. “With the donations of many generous and heartfelt friends and supporters, we are committed to helping children, young people and adults who are not on the sunny side of life.” The theme of “love of neighbour” takes centre stage: “Love of neighbour is the concept that stands above all else – because love of neighbour can solve many problems, big and small. We live and teach Christian values – without being dogmatic. We help to give our fellow Munich residents the strength to help themselves.” Further information about the foundation can be found at https://smuenchnerherz.de/ Text: Andrea Vodermayr Photo credits: Gisela Schober/PR for Filmcasino See detailed report on www.jetset-media.de:
