“Ciccione” means “chubby” or “buddy” in Italian and it perfectly embodies the relaxed atmosphere of this place. The idea was born during the Corona pandemic, when the founders at Yaldy spontaneously switched to pop-up pizza production.
Here, pizza is served “al taglio”: rectangular sheet pizzas whose dough made from soy, wheat and rice flour is fermented for 72 to 96 hours – for an airy dough with a crispy base. The pizza toppings are innovative and tempting, from mozzarella and basil to eggplant with pecorino and salsa verde.
But Ciccione offers more than fine dining: a fine selection of 40 wines from France, Germany and Italy, as well as drinks – tapped directly from barrels – to enchant the senses. Here, enjoyment and community go hand in hand.
