Last evening, the bulthaup studio in Calwer Straße in Stuttgart was transformed into a place of culinary delights and encounters. At the opening event of the renowned Blickfang trade fair, design and food lovers came together to enjoy an extraordinary taste experience.

Back in the game: Sabrina and Denis Jahn.

Last year, Denis Jahn, as a guest chef for the bulthaup Studio, inspired the two managing directors Jonathan Patti and Thomas Schlund. This time he was supported by Philipp Kortyka, a talented patissier, and the delicatessen specialist Böhm. Together, they created a menu that combined the highest level of craftsmanship with exquisite ingredients and took the guests on a flavourful journey.

The evening began with an exquisite selection of finger food provided by Feinkost Böhm: tender beef tartare, perfectly marinated salmon and an aromatic aubergine cream made for a successful start and already gave an idea that this evening was going to be something very special. This was accompanied by the finest caviar from AKI and sparkling Nyetimber sparkling wine, which emphasised the exquisite flavours and provided a stylish start to the evening. There were also wines from the Zimmerle winery, which is based in the Rems Valley and stands for sustainable viticulture and high-quality wines with character. Managed by Jens Zimmerle, it combines tradition with innovation. The range includes elegant white and red wines that have won several awards. Visitors are cordially invited to wine tastings.

A special highlight was the dish created by Denis Jahn: dim sum, accompanied by a creamy broccoli cream, miso and aromatic beech mushrooms. The harmonious combination of Far Eastern flavours and finely balanced textures had the guests raving and once again demonstrated the creative signature of the top chef.

The crowning glory of the evening was conjured up by Philipp Kortyka: a tempting chocolate mousse, accompanied by a fruity pineapple ragout and a light coconut spumée. Handmade chocolates rounded off the dessert perfectly and left nothing to be desired.

It was an evening full of inspiring conversations, unique flavour experiences and a stylish atmosphere – a successful start to the Blickfang trade fair. The successful collaboration between bulthaup, talented chefs and first-class partners impressively demonstrated how design and cuisine can be combined at the highest level. The guests went home with a smile and a palate full of wonderful memories – in anticipation of what the Blickfang trade fair still has in store.

Denis Jahn and his wife Sabrina Jahn are a well-rehearsed team in the catering world. While Denis impresses with his passion for extraordinary flavour compositions, Sabrina ensures perfect organisation and a warm atmosphere. Together, they have made a name for themselves in fine dining and continue to delight their guests with innovative creations and an unerring sense of flavour.
