Absolutely magical and loved by everyone: Disney’s FROZEN is one of the most famous stories in the world – whether in the film version or as a musical. On 26 November, the Stuttgart audience was also enchanted by the long-awaited premiere. The special chemistry between the leading actresses Ann Sophie (Elsa) and Abla Alaoui (Anna), the global hit “Lass jetzt los”, the breathtaking special effects as well as the magnificent costumes and mysterious winter worlds swept the guests off their seats and gave the cast a standing ovation lasting several minutes.
Alexander Klaws: “The uniqueness of FROZEN lies in the story, which effortlessly manages to captivate so many girls, but also boys – and thus be a role model. What I mean by that is that the show conveys the courage to find the best way to grow up for yourself. I think that’s exactly what a lot of young people orientate themselves towards. The show is also so strong precisely because of the female roles. Ann Sophie is a great artist and plays Elsa in a unique way – this role has been waiting for her!”
Stephan Jaekel, company spokesman for Stage Entertainment Germany: “The audience loves Disney’s FROZEN – we were able to experience this up close again today at this emotional premiere evening. The show was already a great success in Hamburg, which is why we also decided to bring it to Stuttgart. Advance ticket sales here showed very high demand right from the start. Today, we can clearly say that FROZEN is one of the most popular musicals in southern Germany: all shows for 2024 are almost sold out. We are delighted with this success, as the entire production team and the cast have put an enormous amount of dedication and passion into creating this play.”
