The 2024 New Year’s reception of “The EAGLES Charity Club e.V.” at Lake Tegernsee in January was an emotional event with many highlights. The long-standing president Frank Fleschenberg was retired due to health reasons and appointed honorary president. Christian Neureuther took over the presidency, accompanied by Anke Huber as president.
The evening included tributes to deceased members such as Franz Beckenbauer, Elmar Wepper and Rosi Mittermaier, as well as the admission of new members, including Rudi Völler and Patrick Lindner.
The 2024 New Year’s reception was attended by numerous prominent guests, including Johnny Logan, Jan Hartmann, Lola Paltinger and many sports personalities. The EAGLES Magazine 2024 was launched, and a donation cheque for €10,000 for charity was presented. The guests enjoyed Bavarian specialties and Tegernsee beer. Finally, EAGLES was introduced to all EAGLES members and business before the evening ended in a cozy atmosphere.
The landlord of the Herzogliches Bräustüberl, Peter Hubert, and his wife Caterina were delighted with the successful event and emphasized their support for the EAGLES. The event ended with a tribute to deceased members and a relaxed end in a convivial atmosphere.
