The Futurium offers around 3,200 square metres of exhibition space on three floors, where visitors can explore different designs for the future in the thinking spaces of man, nature and technology. The exhibition encourages people to develop their own points of view on controversial topics. In addition, there is the Futurium Lab, a space that invites experimentation and allows visitors to work with soldering irons, 3D printers and other technologies themselves. With the so-called “Skywalk” on the roof, the Futurium not only offers an impressive view of the photovoltaic collector fields, but also of the Spreebogen and the Chancellery. The house embodies the fundamental conviction that possible futures arise from our decisions and actions. It is divided into the areas of exhibition, forum and lab, which promote exchange and dialogue between science, politics, business, culture and civil society.
