Nina Bergmann describes this special moment as follows: “Receiving the golden keys is a great honour for me. I am proud to be part of this prestigious association, in which loyalty, friendship and a passion for the profession are lived as a vocation,” explains the Berlin native.
The award of the crossed golden keys requires at least five years of professional experience in the hotel industry and at least two years working as a concierge. In addition, nomination by two members of the association and successful completion of an application process are required. Les Clefs d’Or is an international network of hoteliers dedicated to providing travellers worldwide with exceptional experiences. In addition to guest care, there is a strong focus on promoting young talent, exchange and friendship among members – values that are expressed in the international motto “In Service through Friendship”.
Since November 2021, Nina Bergmann has been working as a radiant hostess and competent contact person at the concierge desk of The Fontenay, under the direction of head concierge Jan Riepen. Prior to this, she gained valuable experience in renowned hotels such as the “SIR Nikolai Hotel” in Hamburg as well as “Das Stue” and “The Ritz Carlton Hotel” in Berlin. She spent a formative period in 2012 and 2013 at “The Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas” in Thailand. She graduated as a “Dipl. Hotelière, Restauratrice” from the SSTH Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality in Switzerland in May 2012.
