The José y Josefina in Stuttgart is named after the parents of the Spanish owners, who emigrated to Stuttgart in the 70s. After the family’s various gastronomic successes, the only thing missing was their own small Spanish restaurant with a heart, where you felt at home like Josefina. A place where not only the stomach is nourished, but also the soul. Unfortunately, the parents were not to live to see the dream of owning their own Spanish restaurant. José died unexpectedly in 2008, and Josefina followed her husband four years later. But the parents’ dream lived on in their children Sonia, Juan and David and when the opportunity arose at the beginning of 2017, they did not hesitate for long and chose Gutenbergstraße as the location for their own Spanish restaurant.
