For more than 35 years, the Lanserhof has earned a reputation for innovative medicine, prevention and health regeneration. The Lanserhof concept is the result of many years of research and development work and combines traditional naturopathy with the latest medical findings. This combination supports the physical, emotional and mental regeneration of the guests and helps to shed superfluous ballast. The focus is on the Lanserhof fasting cure, which aims at a thorough regeneration of the intestines to restore vital energy. The new Lanserhof Sylt is located between the dunes on the Wadden Sea in List, far away from the hustle and bustle. It offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Lister harbour and the adjacent landscape conservation area, as it is located on one of the highest elevations on the island. The building itself covers an area of 20 000 m² and includes 55 rooms, as well as treatment areas and medical facilities on about 5000 m².

An outstanding feature of the new Lanserhof Sylt is the free-standing circular staircase over five floors, which leads from the underground car park to the top floor of the impressive building. With a total height of about 14.3 meters and a width of two meters, it forms the atrium in the heart of the new health resort.

At Lanserhof Sylt, guests can expect privacy, generosity, deceleration and the opportunity to concentrate on their own bodies. The health-promoting architecture was designed in harmony with nature and focuses on holistic relaxation. The timeless, reduced design language and the harmonious rooms pick up on the surrounding nature in its form and choice of materials. The flowing architecture without sharp corners and edges is reminiscent of the dunes, and the arrangement of the beams on the ceiling in the building is intended to be reminiscent of an inverted ship’s hull.

The unique, enduring nature of Sylt, combined with the modern Lanserhof Sylt and its holistic health concept, enables the body to activate its self-healing powers in a new and sustainable way.
