Odin Deli has been a source of inspiration since the foundation stone was laid until today. This gem was built in 1927 by Mr. and Mrs. Thams, who had already taken a cruise on the SS ODIN in the 1920s, a saloon fast steamer with 1100 passengers on the Baltic Sea. This extraordinary experience motivated the couple to infuse the house with the spirit of the SS ODIN.
Mr. Thams, who was himself a master builder of his time, implemented the visions and small rooms were created in the style of a ship’s saloon. The round arch in the middle of the house reflected the stern of the ship. The current hosts of the house ODIN, Sigrid Rothbart and Jörn Steffen, have taken up the footsteps of the former owners and designed today’s guest room inspired by the dining room of the SS ODIN.
In the rooms, guests always experience something special. You can expect a selection of our own wines, sparkling wine and champagne, homemade delicacies, from apple to quince, as well as entertaining wine training and many other pleasant surprises.
