The first model in the new series was worn by actor and OMEGA ambassador Daniel Craig at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games in the summer: a black stainless steel version that aroused curiosity worldwide. The new series is based on the style of the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition from No Time To Die and says goodbye to the familiar ceramic look. The 42 mm models have a domed sapphire crystal for a vintage look, complemented by striking Bond-style mesh bracelets. The collection includes four models on mesh bracelets or rubber straps:
- Stainless steel with black aluminium bezel and laser-engraved wave pattern on a black aluminium dial.
- Stainless steel with titanium bezel and brushed PVD stainless steel dial.
All models feature the Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806, visible through the sapphire crystal case back, as well as the high precision and magnetic resistance that characterise OMEGA.
With its launch in 1993, the Diver 300M built on OMEGA’s diving watch success of the 1960s and 70s. It has long since become a classic with features such as a wave pattern dial, skeletonised hands and a helium valve at 10 o’clock.
