Inside the museum, a collection of over 80 vehicles and 200 small exhibits extends over 5,600 square meters of exhibition space. In addition to world-famous automotive icons such as the 356, 911 or 917, technical masterpieces by Professor Ferdinand Porsche from the early years of the 20th century arouse the enthusiasm of every automotive enthusiast. It is interesting to note that all the vehicles are still in operation today and run regularly.
The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen impresses not only with its impressive contents, but also with its extraordinary architecture. The museum building is supported by three V-shaped columns and houses about 6,000 tons of steel – more than in the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris. A striking sculpture next to the museum, crowned by three Porsche 911s, also attracts attention.
