The Ristorante Mezzogiorno, located not far from the Pöseldorf Center, brings a touch of authentic southern Italian delights to the beautiful Hanseatic city of Hamburg. Here, a tradition is maintained that is deeply rooted in Italy: guests are offered only the best of the cuisine and wine cellar. This is the credo of chef Antonio Calandrino, who conjures up with dedication and skill southern Italian antipasti, oven-cooked rack of lamb, grilled squid, cod in rich sauce, creamy burratina cheese with truffles and many other delicacies from the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Around 90 percent of the restaurant’s ingredients are sourced directly from Italy, with the rest coming fresh from the Hamburg region.

Although it only opened in 2020, Ristorante Mezzogiorno has already built a good reputation. Guests appreciate not only the excellent cuisine and the exquisite wine list, but also the warm and personal service as well as the many small events that take place regularly.
