Even Marie Antoinette would have felt at home in the sugar monarch in Hamburg. In three uniquely designed themed rooms, guests can enjoy sweet delicacies accompanied by fine coffee specialties, exquisite teas or homemade lemonades. The Zuckermonarchin is not only a café, but also a catering service for weddings, baptisms, birthdays and corporate events in Hamburg.

On weekends, the café offers an opulent “breakfast à la Catherine the Great” on a three-storey cake stand, and from Wednesday to Sunday the royal “Afternoon Tea” is served on reservation. In the Sugar Monarch, guests can expect a royal world in which pleasure and tradition merge perfectly. Since 2020, homemade ice cream sandwiches with macarons and cookies as well as popsicles have been available in the summer months, based on the popular cake range.
