The history of the Frankhof wine trading house dates back to 1876, when it was founded in the vault of the luxury hotel Frankfurter Hof. Today, the Frankhof wine trading house is an independent company that supplies customers regionally and internationally. The owner Michael Abt discovered his passion for wine at an early age and, after training as a winemaker and gaining experience in France, founded the wine shop Villa Vinum in Wiesbaden. In 2008 he took over the wine trading house Frankhof, which he considers a gem of the Frankfurt wine trade scene. His expertise was recognized in 2007 with the “Wine Merchant of the Year” award.
