fainz® – from the schoolyard to the golden city

Paul (25) and Fynn (21), the founders of fainz®, achieved millions in sales within 24 months with streetwear jewelry, which Fynn made in his childhood room at the beginning, counted thousands of orders per month, collected tens of thousands of followers on Instagram and already expanded into retail (including KULT/OLYMP&HADES, Snipes). The young entrepreneurs are like brothers who found each other even though they didn't look for each other at all. It is their dads, who roamed the playground together in their youth, who lay the foundation for a very special relationship.

Raoul Schoregge, a trained clown and manager of the Chinese National Circus, is also Fynn’s father.
Fynn discovered his passion for jewelry at a young age and started designing his own necklaces, as the designs he wanted to wear didn’t exist.
He sold them at school and thus met the first interested parties.
He met Paul Ridder through his father.
Although the two fathers did not have a close friendship, a new friendship developed between the boys and soon a business partnership.
“Fynn and I are like brothers who have found each other,” says Ridder.
Together, they founded the company fainz® in February 2021.

The name fainz® originated from a mixture of Fynn’s name and the English word “Chainz” for chains.
Fynn takes over the jewellery production, while Paul takes care of marketing and sales.
In the first month alone, they achieved a turnover of 2,500 euros.
Their online store stands out with an all-black design without a classic product presentation, which became their trademark.
By 2023, the company had achieved sales of over one million euros.
The product range ranges from jewellery to lifestyle items such as chopsticks and jerseys, available in various price ranges from 10 to 865 euros.

fainz® serves the unisex market without differentiating between genders, which is a unique selling point.
With a strong online presence on Instagram and WhatsApp, the brand reaches a young target group in particular.
Customers appreciate the company’s proximity and understanding of their needs.

fainz’s® future goals are ambitious.
They want to expand their presence in retail and make the brand even better known.
In addition, the company plans to get involved in social activities, for example through foundation work to help children.
The company headquarters are moved to Pforzheim, the so-called Gold City, where Paul grew up.
They retain the support of their fathers, who are proud of their sons’ development.
This closes the circle from the first sales in the playground to the success story of fainz® in the gold city.
