There, he drove operational success through his commitment and built high-performance teams. His expertise in the food and beverage sector is also remarkable, with experience in managing Michelin-starred houses and major banquets in the US and UAE.
Karim’s career includes positions at the Plaza Hotel, the Knickerbocker Hotel, the Ritz Carlton Central Park in New York and the Sofitel Legend Old Cataract in Egypt. In addition, he has worked on luxury real estate in Dubai, Philadelphia, Saudi Arabia and Qatar and was involved in the Intercontinental Festival City in Dubai. Karim has also been involved in the development of 9 ultra-luxury hotels, including brands such as Mandarin Oriental, Park Hyatt and Capella.

Beach, pool – relaxing by the pool and long walks on the beach are part of your favourite time-out with the family. Here I have to do some advertising on my own behalf – the Sofitel pool has just been named the largest pool in Ras Al Khaimah and we are about to have this confirmed for the entire UAE! Our lagoon pool has 3,217m3 (3,217,000 liters of water) and the family pool measures 1,540m3 (1,540,000 liters of water). Our hotel’s own beach measures 380 meters and is enough to enjoy the sunset in the evening.
