As part of the renowned Staatstheater Stuttgart, Schauspiel Stuttgart is an outstanding force on the theater stage. As Europe's largest three-genre theatre, it offers its visitors a diverse selection of around 1000 performances during the season from mid-September to the end of July.

The Schauspiel Stuttgart’s venues, including the Schauspielhaus, the Kammertheater and the Theater Nord, offer the ideal setting for captivating productions. This is where the creativity and dedication of the more than 1,350 employees, who come from more than 50 different nations, unfold.

Since the 2018/19 season, Schauspiel Stuttgart has been under the outstanding direction of Artistic Director Burkhard C. Kosminski. Under his visionary leadership, Schauspiel Stuttgart has received new artistic impulses and further developed its repertoire. With his innovative approach, he shapes the theatre landscape and inspires audiences with sophisticated productions and courageous interpretations. Thanks to Kosminski’s creative spirit and commitment to artistic excellence, Schauspiel Stuttgart has become a sought-after stage for top-class theatre.
