Every summer he plays in well-known international clubs and festivals, such as in Ibiza at Akasha and Las Dalias. Also in his home city of Berlin, he works as a DJ at the Garden Of Babylon parties. His own music productions have been released on record labels such as Agogo, BBE, Miss Moneypenny Records, Bar 25 Music, Sasse’s Moodmusic and of course Compost Records, including Compost Disco and Compost Black Label. His releases have been played by established DJ colleagues such as Ron Trent, Maceo Plex, Solomun or Âme. In addition to his love for music, Shahrokh Dini has also created and managed several clubs and events, such as the After Art Party in Karlsruhe in collaboration with Peter Weibel (ZKM). This also included his own clubs: Monk and the Mood Lounge & Music Club in Karlsruhe. In 2023, Shahrokh Dini released two high-profile EPs: “Now We Can Dance” with Illinois and “Ubuntu”. The impressive remixes by Lehar (Diynamic Music, Connaisseur Recordings), David Mayer (formerly Keinemusik, Ouïe), Apoena (Freerange), Omer Tayar (The Gardens of Babylon/Tel Aviv), Patrick Zigon (Biotop, Traumraum), Tooker (Ouïe, Crosstown Rebels) and Kovi (Compost, Frau Blau) make this package an absolute highlight. “Now We Can Dance” feat. Illinois is a contemporary house smasher with an ’80s indie dance twist. Management and Booking Agency: Acid Case is currently planning a big tour and who knows, maybe in your city as well.
