During his school days, he sold advertisements for the school newspaper together with Joachim Fischer. This can perhaps be seen as the cornerstone for training as an advertising salesman. Subsequently, he worked as a manager in an advertising agency and in 1984 founded Slogan GmbH as an independent entrepreneur for strategy consulting for marketing and sales. He then worked as a lecturer at the Nuremberg Academy of Sales Economics and as a lecturer for an MBA Executive program at the University Center for Continuing Education in Krems an der Donau and at the Steinbeis University in Berlin. He has published articles and books on the topics of marketing and future management. In 2005, Wolf Hirschmann was appointed to Club 55, a community of European marketing and sales experts. From 2013 to 2017, he took over the honorary function of president there. During his term of office, the Award of Excellence was presented to Dieter Zetsche, Klaus Fischer, Reinhold Würth and Götz Werner, among others. As a member of the Supervisory Board and Advisory Board, he was a member of the Steering Committee of Dekra Certification for 8 years. He has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Bernhauser Bank eG since 1998.
TIPS FROM WOLF HIRSCHMANN
the pantry
One of my favorite restaurants: It’s called “the. Speisekammer”, in Oberstaufen/Allgäu. In the beautiful Allgäu, this restaurant is a very special address. At star level, chef Daniel Maximilian Kuba cooks extraordinary dishes with a lot of love and creativity. The head of the house, a gifted sommelier, is Thomas Klopfer. With a lot of passion, he and his team have created an incomparable ambience, fine wood and refined details create an incomparable ambience. The restaurant is located in the “Hochgrat”, this is a beautiful house with tasteful alpine chalets, which have a lot of feel-good atmosphere as luxurious holiday apartments.

Cala Capriccioli, Sardinia
One of my favorite places. This wonderful spot is located on the Costa Smeralda. The name Capriccioli comes from the Gallurian language and means “little goats”. Presumably, this refers to the rocks smoothed by the sea, which form a wonderful contrast to the emerald green sea with their shades. In the summer months, however, the small beech trees are very crowded… but in May, June or the end of September it’s like paradise here.

Atelier of Denalisa Shijaku
A few years ago, the artist Denalisa Shijaku moved from Stuttgart to Berlin. The German painter with Albanian roots inspires me with her color compositions. In her large-format paintings, she combines acrylic paints, oils, pastels and also fillers to create a multi-layered effect. Her studio is, by appointment only, an inspiring place where you can experience her imagination and creative power.
