At your bakery Frank in Stuttgart, you can expect an extensive, wide-ranging and, above all, varied range of fresh baked goods. The classics – such as pretzels and various types of rolls – as well as wholemeal and white bread specialities and savoury snacks of all kinds. In addition, you can get juicy cakes and other diverse confectionery specialties from our own production and made according to traditional recipes.
Flour and water are the most important raw materials. The grain for the flour grows in the Gäu between Herrenberg and Horb. Markus Rettenmeier grinds the grain there and has been doing so for over 15 years. To make the doughs, the Frank bakery uses only revitalized water. Here, the water molecules regain a structure that is common in fresh spring water. In this way, the water retains its original quality and freshness, which improves the compatibility of the breads. Experienced bakers take care of the natural sourdough with care every day. Traditional recipes with marginal notes from grandfather Karl Frank ensure a special taste and a long stay of freshness without preservatives.
