Stage 16 has grown over the years into a cult beach location and was one of the first surf hotspots of its kind on the island. This family business, which was already frequented by celebrities in the 60s and 70s, has retained its charm and has continued to develop it. The relaxed and casual atmosphere is maintained by hosts Tim and Sven Behrens and their friendly team. Everything, including the tasty raisin cake, is homemade. In addition, there is first-class coffee from Christian Appel from the Rantum coffee roastery. Stage 16’s kitchen serves simple, tasty dishes for beach fun, including tender matjes, a top-notch Berlin currywurst, stews, and more. In the months from June to August, the culinary offer is expanded by various barbecue stations. Everyone comes together here – locals, celebrities, surfers, young and old – to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and delicious food.
