Six of the ten most popular cars are electric. The EU’s decision to phase out combustion engines and ongoing discourses on the urgency of the mobility transition have increasingly drawn consumer attention to battery-powered vehicle models. This was the result of a data analysis by Autodoc, a leading online retailer of vehicle parts and accessories in Europe. The decisive factor was which vehicle models were most often googled, clicked on and discussed on social networks.
