On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the legendary masterpiece, Montblanc is opening a temporary kiosk in Munich's city centre.

Introduced in 1924, the Meisterstück has left its mark on history as the epitome of all writing instruments, as it was a tool for many influential personalities who have left their mark on our culture and history. The origins of the masterpiece and its subsequent success, on the other hand, can be explained rather coincidentally. Supposedly, it was first a few customers who asked for a writing instrument for special occasions, i.e. more sophisticated fountain pens that were not intended for everyday use. What they did not suspect was that the artisans in their Montblanc workshops had long since designed such writing instruments as unique pieces and created unique pieces of the highest craftsmanship, which were later rightly called “Meisterstück”.

Montblanc stands for first-class craftsmanship and upscale design. Since 1906, when the Maison pioneered the culture of writing, it has continued to set new standards. Genius and imagination continue to be the driving forces for the Maison, whose understanding of high craftsmanship extends across the various product categories: writing instruments, watches, leather goods, new technologies and accessories. Montblanc aims to create refined lifelong companions, born from bold concepts and manufactured according to the strictest criteria thanks to the high level of expertise of the Maison’s artisans. The iconic Montblanc emblem is a symbol of performance, quality and the highest standards. As part of its ongoing commitment to those who want to make a difference as a mark-maker, Montblanc continues to support educational programs around the globe as well as initiatives that inspire people to reach their full potential.

Upon entering the
Montblanc Kiosk
, whose design is inspired by the Montblanc brand campaign film by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Wes Anderson, visitors are inspired to write.

The kiosk invites visitors to linger over coffee and pretzels and offers visitors the opportunity to write specially created postcards – with a masterpiece, of course. In addition, there is the possibility to register for the calligraphy courses taking place on June 29 and July 13

from 9:00-10:00 a.m. under event@montblanc.de.

The kiosk is open from
June 20 to July 20
on the
terrace of the Brenner
, Maximilianstraße 15, daily (except Sundays) from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
