We founded SCHMUCKWERK in 1994 with the idea of thinking outside the box of jewellery design. We wanted to find a new jewelry perspective and discover something unusual. Since then, we have been working on unique jewellery ideas that redefine the boundaries of goldsmithing. The result is pieces of jewellery full of character that are not only beautiful and feel good. They should appeal to all the senses, fascinate with new technologies and tell special stories.
In the meantime, around 30 designers, goldsmiths, jewellers, marketing experts, accountants and account managers are working together with us to make our dream come true and to create new, unique jewellery ideas. With attention to detail and the best craftsmanship, they ensure that the fine creations of SCHMUCKWERK are of the best quality.

Qomo, Dusseldorf
Great Japanese restaurant in the TV tower Dusseldorf. Sensational views and top quality of modern Japanese cuisine. Attention: Do not put your handbag on the ground, because the tower rotates very slowly.

Alte Mühle Höreth, Kobern-Gondorf / Mosel
Not an insider tip, but a truly enchanted place: The life’s work of Thomas Höreth. In addition, the incredibly loving and tasteful decorations by Gudrun Höreth paired with great food, a very good wine list and warm staff is always a special moment for us.

In the evening, when the tourists finish their visit to the monastery, it becomes kitschy beautiful. The hotel on a headland in Lake Garda with its own small harbour and restaurant on the pier is a dream place. And when a few chic Italians dock with their Riva boat … great cinema.

Fortunately, the northern Spanish coast is pretty much spared from tourist flows. San Sebastian is the most beautiful city by the sea that we have experienced and Bilbao with the Guggenheim Museum is a “must”. The cuisine of northern Spain is the best in Spain, both the Michelin-starred gastronomy, simple restaurants and pintxos bars. And for those who like hiking, this is where the Camino del Norte, the coastal pilgrimage route, passes. Attention: the route from San Sebastian is quite strenuous, as there are many meters of altitude to overcome.
