Kaan knows very well that learning a language is not always easy. Especially when it comes to German. He, them & Co. can sometimes become stumbling blocks. But how must it be for those who learn German and then come to Swabian? Born in Ostfildern-Ruit and raised in Esslingen, he himself had problems understanding real original Swabians. Or could he have guessed that the "Schleckhaf" is a pot of sweets?

My parents have been living in Germany for years because my father found a good job here. Her German is a wonderful mixture of Turkish, German and Swabian. There are sometimes sentences like: “Do you have mol Salca for me?”, which means something like: “Do you have tomato paste for me?”. That’s just the way it is with Turkish-Swabian. Admittedly, sometimes it sounds really weird to me, too. It’s a colourful salad of languages, but it helps you to communicate and get through your A-levels. Afterwards he studied in Stuttgart as Dipl. Marketing and communication scientist, founder and managing director of Geopard Digitale Kommunikations GmbH (excellent agency – German Web Award – German Design Award) and co-founder and co-operator of the bar lounge Jigger & Spoon, in the hospital district in Stuttgart. And yes, hobbies belong on every resume. In this way, you can really put yourself in the limelight with private interests. And my hobbies are, in addition to the cold start as a golfer, food, cooking, culture, traveling and trying new things. For me, Swabian cuisine is one of the best and most popular in Germany: lentils with spaetzle, roast beef with onions are just a few of the typical specialties that are known and famous far beyond the country’s borders. Not really an insider tip. Just a few minutes’ walk from our office, I like to visit the KESSLER sparkling wine bar in Calwer Straße. In the small, charming rooms, the in-house sparkling wine can be enjoyed in a stylish ambience. NATAN Café & Bar
In this place of well-being, everyone works on a voluntary basis! Together with the initiative “Stelp e.V.”, the “Natan Café and Bar” supports international aid projects.
